I have been working on a design that allows you to have a reversible button to make it even easier for your collar scarf to go with any outfit. This idea was thought up by Anna Roebuck from Bags2Riches who also owns The Making House where you can see my work stocked. Anna suggested the idea of creating a reversible button so that her customers could have even more choice when picking the perfect collar scarf.

I have simple attached two cover buttons and created a hole on both ends of the scarf to allow you to turn the button around depending on which colour you would like. I haven’t quite perfected the button so it is still a work in progress but it is very close to being finished. What do you think?

I have also been busy designing tags for my new jewellery and collar scarf range, what do you think?

I am always drawn to anything that is pixelated. I think this is a combination of me being a knitter and living with two gaming geeks.  As I am a knitter I have to design on a grid, a perfect example of this is fair isle patterns, which look exactly the same as pixelated patterns.

Also as I live with two gaming geeks it is impossible for me to get away from anything game related! So with all these pixels around me I have decided to put together a selection of my favourite pixelated things.

On 23rd June I was part of an exciting event at Davenport Shop of Originality.  This event showcased creative professionals and designers from the East Midlands. The whole process of creating a fashion show was displayed live in Davenport Shop of Originality window. This allowed the public to see the whole process from hair to makeup to the clothing and finaly the catwalk which was held in Nottingham city centre. This concept came from stylist collective Style Creative and you can view more photos from the event here.

I love creating multifunctional designs where the wearer can create the style and unique look they want. With this in mind I have designed this wrap.  Made using 100% cotton it can be fastened anywhere with an embroidered brooch.
