This work is very similar to the work of Mara Skujeniece, who you may remember me doing a post about. But instead of looking at spools of yarn these vases are inspired by knitted yarn. They have been created by Annette Bugansky who trained and worked in fashion and costume design before becoming a ceramicist, which really shows in her work. Inspiration for her work includes textile structure, patterns in nature, contemporary interiors and city architecture. As a knitter I am in love with these and love how highly tactile they are.

These amazing pieces of sculptural jewellery are by Anthony Roussel and are inspired by the British coastline and modern architecture. Roussel layers sheets of wood to create delicate flowing lines and sweeping curves, essentially he builds flat elements into fluid structures. The jewellery he creates function as sculptural objects as well as wearable pieces of body adornment in their own right.
